Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from January 2024 Period 6 will be running at 2.40pm till 3.40pm, for students in Year 11 for their core subjects.
These classes will take place in afternoon tutor time and after school in order to help boost knowledge and skills acquisition in preparation for their terminal examinations.
The sessions will take a register and students will be expected to follow all our normal schools rules and requirements.
These sessions are compulsory so we can prepare Year 11 steadily in order to spread out the preparation for GCSEs in a calm and measured approach to ensure students enter exams with confidence and preparedness.
We would like to congratulate our Year 11 students who are now into their third week of sessions and are engaging well in sessions, many of them feeding back that they appreciate this opportunity.
Additionally, following requests from students, we are offering revision spaces during social times and after school, where practically possible.
