Our focus in school this half term has been to model and encourage professional standards so that students are ready to learn, respectful to all in the school community and of course, safe!
Firstly, we enforced our school mobile phone policy. Phones in school should not be seen or heard. Students in our recent school council meeting have recognised this as a positive policy. We are also encouraging students to wear their school uniform with pride. We will of course support families to source the correct items where needed.
Lastly, we have reminded students to be ‘ready’ and arrive to school by 08.30am. From next week students will be logged as late if they are not in Elgar Foyer by 08.35am. This will ensure valuable learning time is not missed.
Students who consistently do the right thing will be recognised in our end of term reward celebrations and trip to Blackwell Court.
