National Careers Week

We have taken this opportunity (National Careers Week) to raise the profile of careers education. Each subject department will be spending time in lessons guiding students to careers that relate to their subject area.  We have had visitors in school too. Mr Walpole invited a lawyer into school to talk to KS4 students about Law as a career and support them in writing CVs.  Y9 had an assembly about post 16 options to ensure they recognise how their GCSE options will influence their education or employment in the future.  Y11 have continued to have their impartial careers guidance interviews with Mrs Matto.  In computing students have had access to Unifrog, an online platform we pay for so that all students can explore careers in their own time as well as at school.
