Y8 students are learning about The Industrial Revolution in History, to bring this to life for them they enjoyed a visit to the Black Country Living Museum in what has become an annual tradition.
Students looked into the houses, the shops and got thoroughly frightened in the dark mine. They even got to experience a lesson in the school room. One student commented it was the best trip he’s ever been on.
Staff were incredibly proud of the students who got involved in discussion, asked sensible questions and even joined in with playing games with the museum staff. Students will now use what they’ve learned to complete their studies of this topic in their History lessons.
A fantastic day!
