Y10 were fortunate enough to receive a workshop with The Speaker’s Trust in order to develop their public speaking skills. The class practiced their posture, gestures and voice projection whilst also carefully considering how to deliver their positions confidently, how to hook a listener and keep them engaged and how to tell anecdotes effectively. The day ended with the opportunity for all participants to deliver their speeches, which were a real privilege to hear. Special commendations to Kennedi, Georgina, Ollie, Chloe, Hannah, Sophie and Ivy who were exceedingly articulate and thoughtful in their opportunities to speak.
