Wolverhampton University trips – Working with Wolverhampton University again, we had the opportunity to go on 2 visits to the university campus, to have a tour around the facilities, and a variety of sessions.; Basketball, Netball, Badminton, and video analysis sessions. This was a fantastic opportunity for all those involved to get a taste of uni life and the courses available at the university of Wolverhampton.
BCU day – OCR students had the opportunity to go to BCU, and look at the sports facilities, and develop their sporting and officiating skills to help them in there R052 unit Developing Sports Skills.
Pathway to podium – Bournville PE team have completed an assessment for PE provision and we have been awarded, Gold for Pathway to Podium, highlighting the afterschool provision, and opportunities Bournville offer students.
SGO Events – Bournville have ran a number of sporting events this half term as the new SGO role, we have organised primary events in Table Tennis, and Basketball for secondary schools, well done to all that are involved and have represented the school.
