The correlation between high attendance and excellent attainment is clear. If students are in school every day, they will achieve better in their assessments. There is no doubt.
Friendly form time competition is launched this half term, with the form with the highest attendance able to win prizes. Attendance leaders will be selected in tutor rooms in order to monitor and display attendance results.
We respectfully remind families to book holidays and appointments outside of school hours, to enable students to attend school and not miss out on crucial learning experiences. Thank you for your support in ensuring high standards of attendance and punctuality.
