On Friday 8th May, selected Year 9 Science students had the exciting opportunity to visit the Birmingham Health and Innovation Campus.
During the visit, students toured state-of-the-art laboratories and took part in a range of engaging STEM challenges designed to develop their scientific thinking, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
A particular highlight of the day was the opportunity for students to share their ideas and aspirations with local MP Al Carns, gaining valuable insight into how science and innovation link to real-world decision making and future careers.
The experience helped to inspire students to explore further opportunities within STEM and provided a meaningful connection between classroom learning, industry and civic engagement.
