Students recently enjoyed an exciting and educational visit to the National Space Centre as part of a wider enrichment experience designed to support STEM learning and inspire curiosity about space and science careers.
During the visit, students explored a range of interactive exhibits covering topics such as the solar system, rockets, space travel, and life as an astronaut. They had the opportunity to engage with hands-on displays and immersive experiences that brought complex scientific ideas to life in an engaging and accessible way.
The trip helped students develop a deeper understanding of space science and its real-world applications, while also encouraging them to think about future careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Many students were particularly fascinated by learning how space missions are planned and how astronauts live and work in space.
Staff praised students for their enthusiasm, thoughtful questions, and excellent behaviour throughout the day. The visit proved to be both enjoyable and highly inspiring, leaving students motivated to continue exploring science and aiming high in their future studies.
