As part of their history learning this year, our Key Stage 1 pupils have been exploring their local area, including the history of Bournville and the Cadbury brothers.
In July, 31 Year 1 and Year 2 pupils enjoyed an exciting visit to Cadbury World in Bournville, where they discovered how chocolate is made and even had the opportunity to create their own delicious chocolate treats.
Of course, no visit to Cadbury World would be complete without sampling some chocolate along the way!
The children had a fantastic day, returning to school full of smiles and enthusiasm. Many described it as “the best day ever!”
