This half term, we have been following the events in Ukraine closely. During tutor time we regularly share the latest news with students to keep them up to date with current events.
Many students approached us keen to do something to support the refugees who have found themselves in such difficult circumstances.
On Friday 25th March we held a blue and yellow uniform day, where staff and students visibly showed their support by wearing these colours. Money raised will go to the DEC Ukraine Appeal.
The school community has also been collecting items to send to help refugees from nappies to clothes. It has been a collective effort and has encouraged our students to develop empathy and promotes kindness.
Many thanks to all those who have contributed.
