Thank you to everyone for rising to the challenge of walking 500 miles for Children in Need. It was great to see the whole school community come together and all do their bit for this worthy cause from primary to secondary, staff and students. We lost track of how many laps were walked but it was way more than the 500 mile target. Some students even ran and clocked up 15 or 16 laps in their allocated session! Our Trust values were on show throughout the day with students showing dedication and ambition.
There was a great deal of generosity and kindness shown too as students supported each other, donated cakes for sale and donated lots of money for Children in Need which does so much for disadvantaged students across the UK.
At first count we have raised £408.51, an incredible achievement for all involved!
