It was a pleasure to take a mixture of Y9 and Y10 students to the Barber Institute of Fine Arts so that they could experience first-hand the high-quality work in the gallery. For some, it had been their first visit to an art gallery of this calibre, improving their cultural awareness. We received an informative tour and then got sketch books out to do some drawing. This will support art studies in school.
