Activities

  • Build a Simple Circuit: With a few basic components like batteries, wires, and small light bulbs or buzzers (easily found online or at electronics stores), you can learn about electricity, series, and parallel circuits.
  • Grow Crystals: Create your own crystals using common household substances like salt, sugar, or borax. This is a great way to observe states of matter, solutions, and crystallization processes.
  • Weather Observation and Recording: Keep a daily log of local weather conditions, noting temperature, cloud cover, wind direction, and precipitation. You can even try to make simple predictions based on your observations, applying data collection and analysis skills.
