Curriculum Leader for Religious Studies
Full Time: TLR2b (£4,130) or TLR2a for the right candidate
Required for September 2010
Closing Date for Application: Noon, Monday 22nd March
Interview date: Friday 26th March
As a result of the sideways move of the current post holder we wish to appoint,
for September 2010, a highly motivated, ambitious and experienced teacher
to lead Religious Studies at Bournville School, being directly responsible to the
Director of Learning for Humanities.
We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who is capable of
leading the further development throughout the school.
At Bournville we pride ourselves on the quality of our learning and teaching,
the opportunities for professional development and the determination
with which we strive for the best possible outcomes for young people.
This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to work in a vibrant
Faculty that delivers an extensive curriculum. Although the person
appointed will lead Religious Studies it is envisaged that they
will probably teach a small amount of other
Humanities subjects as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be passionate about,
and committed to, the teaching and development of
Religious Studies, including community cohesion.
