  This is Bournville School's Welcome for new Year 7 youngsters for September 2010

 

Sue Barlow, who only recently joined the PTA is now our Treasurer
Our longstanding PTA member, Janine Bryant, is now our Secretary
PTA will be helping with refreshments at the Billy Lian Play on Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 and 10 March

Hi to All Parents, Guardians, Carers and Staff of Bournville School.

The School is putting on a play, Billy Liar, on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 9 and 10 March, and the PTA will be helping with refreshments from about 7.30pm (for an interval at about 8.10pm).

At the last meeting in January, we said that we would have an update meeting with those of us there on Tuesday, which Janine is doing the Agenda for. It will include an update on progress towards a Friends of Bournville School and holding an NCPTA event at Bournville School, for which we (the PTA) will receive a donation of £ 50.00.

I'm glad to be able to confirm that Sue Barlow is now our Treasurer and we all wish her a long and happy time with us A big thank you to Janine for volunteering for the post of Secretary in the absence of a volunteer for the post of Chair, Lynne Habermacher was re-elected. This will be the last time she will be able to take on this role and we hope to welcome a new chair for next year We are still looking for a Coordinator, so if you would like to volunteer, please let us know, or come along to one of our meetings

We are considering forming a Friends of Bournville School, as this will enable us to recruit members from the local community as well as parents, teachers and staff of Bournville School.

Please be aware that All Parents, Teachers and Staff of Bournville School are automatically members of the PTA and we would love to see you at any of our meetings.
