Faculties

The Faculty Structure at Bournville School

The Learning teams at Bournville are divided into faculties, each led by a Director of Learning. The Director manages a team of Curriculum Leaders for the subjects within that faculty.

The role of the Director of Learning is not only to oversee and ensure the quality of learning within the faculty but also come together to form the Academic Board which oversees the learning and teaching across the whole-school. Directors also have responsibility for student discipline within their faculty and some whole-school roles too.
