School Aims

In partnership with parents and with the wider community Bournville School aims to:

  • Enhance each pupil's intellectual, moral, social, physical and spiritual development as fully as possible.
  • Enable each pupil to gain the sense of satisfaction and purpose which comes from using one's abilities to the full.
  • Assist all pupils to grow into mature, tolerant, capable adults preparing them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life.
  • Promote the development of personal values including a sense of responsibility, self discipline, honesty, integrity and a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
  • Encourage initiative, enterprise, perseverance and the exercise of individual judgment.v
  • Arouse and stimulate intellectual curiosity within pupils.
