Summer Events

The course is run by Laura Joy Godwin who is a graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire where she gained a BMus specialising in Vocal and Operatic Studies. Laura runs three local children’s choirs, is the founder and director of "Bournville-Vocal-Ease" ladies choir and also organises and runs singing workshops in a number of Primary Schools across the UK as well as teaching privately in Bournville.

Following the success of The Keymaster (summer 2008) and The Button Box (February 2009) 'Children’s Singing Course, Bournville' is pleased to announce that they are going to be running two, one week, singing courses during the school Summer Holidays 2009.

"Children's Singing Course, Bournville" run fun packed weeks of activity for children aged 6-16 in the local community. During each week the children work towards an exciting musical production which they perform at the end of the week to friends and family. The week incorporates art, drama, music, singing, and dance. It is challenging... but very rewarding!

Week A will run – 03/08/2009
Week B will run – 10/08/2009

The course takes place Monday – Friday, 10am – 3pm from St. Francis Primary School. The cost of the course is £100 per child, per week = 25 hours of tuition - £4 per hour!
