The Bournville School Business and Enterprise Centre opened on 2nd September 2004 with a launch event attended by many of our business partners, governors and staff.
The Centre was officially opened by Mr Jon Fox, Regional Managing Director of NatWest. All who attended were impressed by the facilities the new Centre offers.
Mrs Harker talked of a new era in Business Education partnerships, where business could really make a difference to the achievements of our young people through working closely with education to ensure that the students of today had the skills and attributes necessary for success in the world of work and business.
In October, we hosted a visit from 15 Headteachers from across Europe. They wanted to visit a school in the forefront of ICT and Enterprise Education and we were delighted to show them around our wonderful facilities.
They were also treated to a presentation by students from Mr Fitzpatrick's class of their Enterprise Pathfinder Project Challenge for NatWest. All the Heads were most impressed and really enjoyed their visit.
