Bournville School became a Specialist Business and Enterprise College in 2002. Since then the College has grown in stature and influence, embedding an ethos of enterprising learning throughout the school. Students are actively encouraged to develop their skills of teamwork, communication, decision making, risk taking and all the other skills and attributes which go toward building confident, capable and enterprising learners.

We run a comprehensive Personal Finance Programme through Years 7 to 13. We want our students to become financially aware and to avoid the pitfalls of unaffordable debt.

We run a School Bank (a branch of NatWest) where the students can gain experience in how to open and keep a bank account. We want to encourage students to budget their money and save for special things they want for themselves or their family.
